Paddle in the majestic Pacific Northwest

Nature, Nurture, & Orcas

book from June 15th - Sept 30th

Overview

Hop aboard a top-of-the-line touring kayak and set out with your tour guide through glassy water often shared with orcas! If you're lucky, you could spot whales, dolphins, otters, eagles, and many other aquatic animals that call Northern Washington their home.

That's just the beginning. This trip packs a punch with ice caves, a stunning ferry ride to Victoria (on Vancouver Island, Canada), a scenic floatplane ride to take in some of B.C.'s best scenery, and a tour of Snoqualmie Falls.

Arrive in Seattle

After your safe arrival to Seattle we'll get settled into our hotel then head out to world reclaimed Pike's Place Market and watch fishermen throw the fresh catch of the day across the room, which is both entertaining and efficient! The people-watching there is second to none! We'll join a food tour so that we can sample the best and freshest offerings at the market and visit the original Starbucks! In the evening, we'll get better acquainted with a happy hour meet and greet!

Day 2- Ice Caves!

Today you'll experience something that most of humanity never will, ICE CAVES! There is a gorgeous and fairly easy 1-mile hike which lends us to and from the caves. If you dare to enter, you'll walk inside four tunnels of blue so surreal your senses won't be able to compute. Nature is unpredictable and so is ice, so weigh your risks, if you'd like to observe from outside it's still a bucket-list worthy experience! Once we hit sensory overload we will make the 1.5-hour journey to Anacortes and enjoy some free time in the sleepy fishing town where we'll overnight before our kayak adventure.

Day 3 - Kayak Adventure

Glide out from Anacortes in your state of the art touring kayak towards the San Juan Island which is frequented by Orcas, humpbacks, dolphins, otters, bald eagles, and more! Slice into glassy transparent water and feel the rhythm of the underwater world below. We will paddle to an island that is entirely surrounded by a Marine Biological Reserve. This gives us the best shot at wildlife viewing anywhere in the San Juan Islands!

Day 4 - Travel to Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada

Make sure you have your passport handy because today we pack up and head out to the "Yeah sure I betcha" country by the sea! Hop aboard a ferry and enjoy a 2 hour 45-minute ride through the San Juan Islands and into Canada's beautiful Vancouver Island! We'll head to our hotel and enjoy a little downtime where you can feel free to explore one of our recommended activities. In the evening, we drive to an Eden that most of us couldn't even dream up. In the Butchart Gardens, we'll experience visual bliss including a fireworks display.

Day 5 - Float Plane Ride & Victoria in Her Glory

Today you will take in Victoria with a splash on a 20-minute floatplane ride! Afterward, enjoy free time to roam Victoria at your pace. In the evening, we'll enjoy a progressive dinner, walking to three venues for drinks and sustenance. Just another way to explore the best of Victoria's bar and restaurant scene.

Day 6 - Safe Travels & See You on the Next Adventure!

We're riding in style on the Victorian Clipper Ship three hours to Seattle, where we say our goodbyes, or better yet, see ya' later. We hate to see you go but are so happy to have met you!
